RENAL SCAN
Renal scan imaging is performed two hours after injecting the radiopharmaceutical.
1. Cortical Scan- 99m Tc-DMSA The focus of this scan is mainly on renal functioning and scar, pyelonephritis, reflux disease, urinary tract infection and ectopic kidney.
