Septoplasty

The nasal septum is a bony cartilaginous wall between the two nasal cavities. Ideally, the septum should be down the centre of the nose. If the septum is deviated or dislocated to any one side, it can affect breathing or lead to recurrent sinus infections. The procedure to correct and re-establish the position of the septum is called septoplasty. This is a simple, single-day procedure.
